My husband and the other Pastors/Elders from our church attended this conference this past week here in Louisville. We were so blessed to have such men of the WORD such as John Piper, CJ Mahaney, Albert Mohler, R.C. Sproul and John MacArthur here and to listen to their wisdom, experience and discernment that the Lord has provided them with.

Jim Bob isn't a person that likes to sit for long periods of time ESPECIALLY if it is beautiful outside...as it was those days... and he had a yucky sore throat....but the Lord helped to sustain him and he loved the conference.

He came home with 35 books and excited about his renewed commitment to live his life to Glorify the Lord and Lead Guide and Love his Family. Also just reaffirming that the GOSPEL has to cost you something. What are you sacrificing for the Gospel?

This same week I attended the Homeschooling Conference in Indianapolis. Molly is only 2.5 but I wanted to research and get a program that I could begin with her teaching her not only academics but more importantly the Word and fruits of the Spirit. She understands very well and on most days is a sweet, compassionate and loving little girl....the other she is a dirty rotten sinner just like the rest of us.

We are so blessed and thankful for where the Lord has placed us in ministry and for the stand that our church takes on the Scriptures and for how HE has opened our eyes to His beauty. It is our desire as a family to Glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in ALL we do...whether we eat or drink or whatever we do...do it all for the Glory of the Lord!!
