Saving Children from Cambodia's Trash Heap

This woman was featured as one of CNN's Heros. You can read and watch video of how when she saw the plight of these children that live in the dump she put action to her feelings. She is a hero. I have witnessed the same plight of 1000's in Venezuela that live on a trash heap and work 10 hour days to hopefully gain some scrap from a meal that others threw away. Children that from the age of 4 work to find food and plastics " in hope" that someone will pay them maybe a dollar for. As Christians....what are we to do....are we to give...go....pray...move.....I pray that the Lord will burden my heart for the plight of these children and peoples that are in Venezuela, Guatemala...Cambodia and many more places on this Earth. Let it also be noted that Cambodia is closed to international adoption and Guatemala is now as well. How many children will grow up working at the dump that their biological parents could have and should have the choice to make an adoption plan for their children that they might be adopted by a loving family here in the states..... What will you do with this knowledge? What will I do with this knowledge.
