Hello Everyone,
I have went "out on a limb" and created a blog spot to keep our friends and family informed on our Adoption Journey II. For some of you reading this, it may have come as a surprise to you. In May Jim Bob and I decided to start this "roller coaster" ride again. The future of Guatemalan adoptions are very uncertain and who knows what will happen as of Jan. 1. We knew from the beginning we would adopt again.....we didn't know it would be this soon but God's timing is perfect. We accepted the referral of a beautiful little boy name Denis Eleazar Ticun Mejia, which we are naming William Robert Outland "Will". He was born in the same villiage Molly is from and weighed 5 pounds 11 ounces. I received a medical in July for his 2 month checkup and he currently weighs 10 pounds 12 ounces. He is a Hoss! That is already more than sweet Molly weighed when she arrived home at 5 1/2 months of age.
Well, we had to refile all of the paperwork and begin the paperchase once again, but the Lord is good. He has already carried us through DNA testing with Will and worked out issues with our paper work that could ONLY be a GOD THING!! Guatemala received all of our paperwork July 31st ..........so now we wait.........
Our next step in the process is Family Court so pray this will go smoothly and we will receive PreApproval from the Embassy in a timely manner. Just wanted to bring you all up to date and please check back regularly for new posts.

How exciting to hear of your new journey! I know it can be both frustrating but so rewarding. It seems the courts and PreApproval process is moving faster than in the past. (My niece just came home in July and her process was much quicker than her sister's in Aug. 2005) Hopefully, there will be as many children as possible that will come home if the awful hague happens. The children waiting for homes will be the ones who are truly affected. We will be praying for your family! Please remember the child my parents are trying to adopt in your prayers. We are awaiting her abandonment decree to be signed (now going on 17 months wait). She wants a home so badly, but the actual adoption process can not begin until the abandonment decree is issued. Please keep us posted on your progress.

Missy, I love your blog! I hope that you have a fast process and get that baby boy home soon! Your children are adorable. God Bless!
